Hyderabad has been put on high alert after a deadly bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi on November 10, 2025. At least eight people were killed, and many others were injured. As a result, Hyderabad police have increased security across the city.
A message was issued by Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC
Sajjanar asking citizens to be vigilant. People should call the police helpline
100 immediately if they see anything suspicious. The police are working extra
hard to keep the city secure ahead of the Jubilee Hills by-election.
Railway stations, bus stands, and busy marketplaces have been subjected to increased security checks. Patrols are more in crowded areas, and vehicles are being inspected. Bomb detection teams and dog squads are also on duty to prevent threats.
People are asked not to get panic or spread false
information, and to cooperate with the authorities. To respond quickly to
emergencies, CCTV surveillance has been activated, and patrol vehicles are on
