Pravinkoddu Shappu begins with the murder of toddu shop owner in a small village. From there, the story takes off as a classic “ who did it ?” murder mystery. The main twist in this film is that all the regular customers of the toddy shop becomes suspects. Each of the customer has a trange past and they might commit the murder.
This case
was handled by a police officer named Santosh, played by Basil Joseph. He
doesn’t rely on the police force but uses smart thinking and humor to solve
this case. This film does not follow a straight timeline but it jumps back and
forth between scenes, revealing each character's secrets slowly.
