The plot of the film Teeja Punjab centers around Bhagat's battle to reclaim his property from the village Sarpanch, which unlawfully seized it. Bhagat is an alcoholic who only votes for money and frequently argues with his wife. His wife, Mohini, has had enough of his actions and has left him.
Meanwhile, Bhagat makes a settlement with the Sarpanch, leading him to join the farmers' revolt. He runs across his wife there and decides to regain her trust. During the demonstration, he has a positive transformation, and Mohini chooses to return. They are successful in recovering their property as a team.
