Anand Shankar wrote and directed the Tamil action thriller film Enemy. Vishal, Arya, Mirnalini Ravi, Mamta Mohandas, and Prakash Raj play major roles in the film. The story of Enemy covers the story of two-valued buddies who become foes due to one's inner self and envy.
Chozhan (Vishal) and Rajiv (Arya), in their early childhood, are tutored by Rajiv's father, an ex-CBI officer (Prakash Raj), to join the police force. Chozan and Rajiv are both similarly trained by Rajiv's father. Chozan appears to be the best of the two, urged Rajiv hatred and jealously.
Chozhan afterward becomes a retail storekeeper in Singapore and has an affectionate relationship with Akshaya. A gas company explodes, killing 11 Tamilians and brutally injuring many more; this incident motivates Chozan to address other concerns that concern him.
