5 States To Vote From Feb 10: Five State Elections

 

Beginning February 10, voters in Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur, Punjab, and Uttarakhand will vote in seven stages, with results expected on March 10.


Each of the seven stages of voting in Uttar Pradesh will take place on February 10, February 14, February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3, and March 7.

On February 14, Punjab, Goa, and Uttarakhand will vote.

On February 27 and March 3, Manipur will vote in two stages.

Over the next two months, 690 Assembly constituencies will vote, with UP having the most (403 seats), followed by Punjab (117), Uttarakhand (70), Manipur (60), and Goa (60). (40).

In Goa, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the ruling party, whereas Punjab is governed by the Congress. According to the Election Commission, a total of 18.55 crore persons are eligible to vote, including 8.55 crore women.
